The TEC is consulting on what is good practice for New Zealand Apprenticeships, through a draft Code of Good Practice for New Zealand Apprenticeships (the Code).
New Zealand Apprenticeships are formal work-based training programmes leading to careers in a range of vocations. They are open to anyone aged 16 years and over.
The Code sets out the expectations and obligations of everyone involved in a New Zealand Apprenticeship. It has been developed through input from apprentices, employers and industry training organisations.
We want your feedback on the draft Code. Feedback is welcome from anyone who is involved or interested in apprenticeship training.
The Code and information on how to provide feedback are available here.
Feedback is open until 5:00 pm, 31 March 2015.
