    ITO Update: December Reports Released

    December trainee counts, Standard Training Measure offsets reports, and educational performance data have been released. Industry Training Organisations should now check that the Standard Training Measures reported align to the information held in their Trainee Management System.

    Workplace Literacy: Final reports

    Organisations that received Workplace Literacy (WPL) and/or Intensive Literacy and Numeracy Funding (ILN) in 2011 must submit a final report. The final ILN & WPL reports are due by January 31 2012.

    Recovery of funding from ITOs

    The Tertiary Education Commission has confirmed that 18 Industry Training Organisations have repaid funding totalling $4.293m. The funding recovered relates to trainees who were not actively engaged in training in 2009.

    Media Release: Trainees the priority in response to ITO Closure

    The Tertiary Education Commission says that ensuring those enrolled with the Creative Trades Industry Training Organisation (CTITO) are not adversely affected is the priority following the ITO's decision to cease trading. CTITO ceased trading on 14 January 2011.
