SDR Submissions – Minor change to the process
12 April 2007
From 16 April, TEOs needing TEC assistance with their forecasts, qualification, course, delivery site approvals and any SDR related funding queries should call a new number - 0800 4 SDR TEC (0800 4 737 832).
Please note that Universities should continue to discuss course and qualification approvals with their usual TEC University Engagement Team contacts, while referring other SDR related matters (forecasting, SDR related funding queries etc) to the TEC Service Centre on the contact number above.
Please note that ITPs and Wananga should continue to discuss qualification approvals only with their usual TEC National Team contacts, while referring other SDR related matters (course approvals, forecasting, SDR related funding queries etc) to the TEC Service Centre on the contact number above.
Business hours for the line will be 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
All other SDR issues, for example the SDR submission process, validation, or any questions or problems with the STEO (Services for Tertiary Education Organisations) website should still be referred to the Ministry of Education Sector Service Desk on sector.servicedesk@minedu.govt.nz or call 0800 422 599.
There is no change to the way TEOs have to submit their SDR, only in the way that the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) will support this process.
To help ensure a smooth changeover, we would appreciate it if TEOs could aim to complete their course and qualification changes as early as possible. If there are any changes to your forecast for 2007 please note these on the coversheet to ensure efficient processing.
A centralised approach to the April SDR is more aligned with the way that TEOs will engage in the future with the TEC's Service Centre regarding SDR and other specified activities. We expect that the Service Centre will be fully operational on 1 July 2007.
Thank you
